Access Genomic Express website without registration

Access Genomic Express website via registration
In order to view all the content and features of our website, as well as order genetic tests and other services and view your test results, you will need to register an account with Genomic Express. Depending on the genetic test or other service ordered and site functions utilized, we may collect additional personally identifiable information to facilitate your use of our site or your decision regarding whether a test or service would be appropriate for you. It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your personally identifiable information, as it will affect the information you receive and other aspects of the functionality of our site. You have the option of changing some of your personally identifiable information when logged in to your personal and secure account. It is important that your email address be kept current because that is the primary manner in which we communicate with you. 2. COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION
Non-Personal Information
We collect non-personal information to improve the performance, content and functionality of our website. When users view the public portion of our website (i.e. without registering or without logging in), we collect and cumulate which pages of our website were visited, the order in which they were visited, the length of time spent on each page, which hyperlinks were followed and what other functionalities of the site that were utilized. When you register, you will provide a Username and valid e-mail address. These are unique and will specifically identify you. If you choose a Username already registered by another Genomic Express Member, you will be prompted to choose another Username. The e-mail address must be valid and you must be able to access it in order to activate your Membership and/or make a purchase. At the time you choose to provide this information, you will be prompted to enter a password. This password is required to login to your account and may be changed by you when logged in. Your e-mail address is the primary means by which we communicate with you, so you should keep it up to date. You may change your e-mail when logged in as a user. Should you forget your password, we can send it to your registered e-mail upon request. Your unique Username and password allow you to gain access to the non-public portion of our site, including your personal and secure account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your personal account by not disclosing your username and password to others.
Additional Personally Identifiable Information
Purchase Orders
Additional personally identifiable information is collected in order for you to purchase a genetic test or other genomic service. This includes your billing, shipping and credit card information. This information is collected to process your order, process payment for the order, update you on testing progress and notify you when your test is complete and the results are posted in your personal account. All purchase orders are made via credit card and are processed through third parties. These third parties are provided your billing and shipping information that is necessary to provide the e-commerce service. We do not disclose, nor allow these third parties access to, your genetic test results or other personal information in your account.
Genetic Test Results and Other Genomic Information
Genetic test results are posted in your personal, secure and password protected online account. Depending on other Genomic Express services and functionalities of our website that you utilize, additional Personal Information may be collected and stored. This may include responses to questionnaires, surveys or risk assessments. This information is collected in order to facilitate use of various functionalities of our website, help you decide whether a genetic test or service would be useful for you, and to understand what information is (and is not) provided by the test or service. It may also be utilized for proper reporting and counseling you regarding your genetic information. It is important that this personally identifiable information you choose to provide is accurate since it will affect the information and counseling you are provided.
3. MINORS
Genomic Express is committed to protecting the privacy of its Members, including children. Our website, genetic tests and services are not intended to attract children. A parent or guardian may, however, do any of the following on behalf of his or her child: 1) establish an account on behalf of his or her child, 2) complete and save a questionnaire, survey or risk assessment; 3) order a genetic test or other genomic service; 4) review and store the result posted to the account generated for the minor. For genetic tests performed on a minor (under 18 years old), a parent or legal gurdian must sign the Informed Consent included in the collection kit. The parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for the information submitted on behalf of the minor as well as maintaining the confidentiality of any of the minor's genetic test results.
4. LINKED SITES
For your convenience, and in order to improve the informational value of our website, we include links to websites operated by other organizations or companies that may be of interest to you. We do not disclose your personal information to these linked sites. Genomic Express is not responsible for the privacy policy, and does not endorse the content of, these sites. Should you choose to link to one of these sites, you should review the privacy policy posted on that site to understand how they collect and use any personally identifiable information.
5. DISCLOSURES REQUIRED BY LAW
There is the possibility that personal information may be subject to disclosure pursuant to judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants, or orders.
